Picking a first picture is the hardest. But well, let's start this page of with a bottle I bought at the Jack Daniel's White Rabbit bottle shop ate the distillery in October 2012.
This is the first of the Master Distiller series. No. 1 Jack Daniels. This will be a brand new serie commemorating the Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel's distillery.
Just beside the bottle, and a little tucked away behind the plastic cup, there is the proof I bought it at the distillery. They used to have tokens to give with every bought bottle, they switched to a gold colored sticker and nowadays you get this one.
Here to the right is another bottle I purchased at the same time in October 2012. It's a 1 liter Gentleman Jack, etched to celebrate the 24th annual world invitational BBQ.
Along the bottle and in the picture right-below, there is some Wyooter Hooter memorabilia. Apparently, according to some local Lynchburg folks, there is a good-natured 'creature' haunting the grounds around Lynchburg.
Every year quite a lot of collector friends, locals and enthousiasts gather round at one night at the distillery, to be told a scary story.
I really would like to bee part of that event one time in future. Here's the recipe of the Wyooter Hooter, so you can have a sip of the Wyooter, while making up your own scary story: - 1 part of Jack Daniel's
- 4 parts of 7-Up or Sprite
- a splash of Grenadine
Virtally impossible to collect are the premixes Jack Daniel's made over the years. Virtually every year they brought either new flavors, changed the label or cello, or changed the complete bottle.
Also they made these premixes for specific markets. I mean, you can't find Jack Daniel's Dry anywhere else then in Australia, for instance. Below I show you some of the premixes from around the world.
Along the Jack Daniel's Winterjack versions. Two German versions and the US-version
First time I had a package send by seamail from Australia. This because of postagefees. It only took a good two months to arrive at my doorstep, but it was worth te wait. Especially the 'One Standard'-can, which is only issued at mining facilities down under.
We all know Jack Daniels being Black&White. But to add some fancy colors to the collection, I bought some Country Cocktails (and yes, the "Apple" is still in transit)
From Japan I received two awesome tins. The fake-seal in the picture was offered to me by another Dutch collector.
The pictures below feature another fake-seal gem I added to the collection lately.
A 1.136 Liter or Imperial Quart!
